2020 Knoxville April Non-Sanction Open Tournament Announcement

Knoxville Table Tennis Club will be hosting a non-sanction tournament on April 4th, 2020. The tournament will be played at our club location, the Phyllis Wheatley YWCA at 124 S. Cruze Street, Knoxville, TN 37915.
Format:
The tournament will use a two-stage Round Robin format. The first round will be a round robin format with 6 groups of 4. All players will advance to the second round. The second stage will also be a Round Robin format with 4 groups of 6. Depending on your first round robin finish, the 1st place will go to Div A RR group in the second stage, 2nd finish will go to Div B RR group, 3rd finish will go to Div C RR Group, and 4th finish will go to Div D RR group.
There will be no play-off after the second Round Robin stage. The RR result will determine the finish and prize money.
Entry Fee:
$25 and you don’t need to be an USATT member to enter. However, USATT rules will be applied during the tournament.
Prize Money:
Div A – 1st place: $40, 2nd place: $20
All divisions, 1st place: $20, 2nd place: $10
We won’t offer Upset Gold Dollars in this event and there are no trophies for the event neither.
Registration:
To register, please use omnipong.com and look for the Tennessee section. We will not accept any paper mail-in entry. So only online entry on omnipong.com will be accepted. You can click here to get to the omnipong.com page. The blank entry form is also listed on the site. When entering via Omnipong.com, please make sure that you specify your USATT membership number if you have one. If you don’t know your number, use the USATT web site to look for your pass tournament results and you should see your ID next to your name. If you are new or never signed up for USATT membership, you don’t need to provide that number.
