KTTC will start a Fall League on 9\/11 Tuesday for a 10-week session and the last league play will be on 11\/13.  KTTC highly encourage our regulars to sign up so that they can get some tournament like competition with different levels.  The league will use a point system to determine a winner.  This system can allow every one to have a chance to win and also allow everyone to play some quality matches against players with different levels.  The following lists the details of the system:<\/p>\n

  1. The league play will be held every Tuesday starting on 9\/11 for 10 weeks straight.<\/li>\n
  2. The club middle tables (3 – 4 tables) on every Tuesday evening will be reserved for League play.<\/li>\n
  3. Each group will have 4 – 5 players.  5-player group will occupy an extra table to play to speed up the competition.<\/li>\n
  4. The initial draw of the tables will be done randomly.  This will encourage every one to play every one and the eventual divisional grouping will happen naturally after first few weeks.<\/li>\n
  5. Play will start at 7:45 p.m.  Player check-in will need to be done by 7:30 p.m. to allow time for proper grouping.  If you are late, please inform League administrator Nicolae Avram (Mobile: 865-441-7448).<\/li>\n
  6. Every night, the player will earn points.  The points earned are broken down into the following:\n

    1. 1 points for showing up to play.<\/li>\n
    2. 4 points earned if you finish 1st place in a 4 or 5-player group.<\/li>\n
    3. 3 points earned if you finish 2nd place in a 4 or 5-player group.<\/li>\n
    4. 2 points earned if you finish 3rd place in a 4 or 5-player group.<\/li>\n
    5. 1 points earned if you finish 4th place in a 4 or 4th and 5th place in a 5-player group.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    6. You don’t have to play every week.  But if you miss out a week, you will loose your presence points and you will be dropped to a lower table.<\/li>\n
    7. Depending on the number of players per group, if you are in a 4-player group, the top player will move up and the bottom player will move down a table.  If you are in a 5-player group, the top 2 finish will move up and the bottom 2 finish will move down.<\/li>\n
    8. The cost for the entire 10-week league is $20, that’s $2.00 per night!<\/li>\n
    9. For those who are not KTTC paid members, your $5.00 fee will be waived if you sign up to play in the league on Tuesday night.<\/li>\n
    10. The winner of the league session (the one who has the most points) will win 50% of the total entry fee.  The 2nd finish will win 25% of the total entry fee.  If we have a tie among players (more than 2 players), one more round robin night will be played to determine the final winner.  Otherwise, we will just do one extra match to determine the winner.<\/li>\n
    11. In addition to the overall league winner and 2nd place, the club officers and league administrator will pick a player to receive the most improved player award for the league and the player will also receive 25% of the total entry fee.  So play hard to earn your prize!<\/li>\n

    13. Maximum number of players for the league will be 16.  So put in your entry early!  Entry deadline will be 9\/9\/2018 Sunday.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
