\"clubnight\"<\/a>Congratulation to Steve Foster, our first champion of the first KTTC 41-point Handicap Club Tournament. \u00a0On March 25, 2014, KTTC hosts a club tournament using the USATT 41-point handicap system. \u00a0The tournament uses single elimination format and 16 brave souls showed up to compete. \u00a0The tournament is one of our club fun events and every player will put in a dollar for the prize pool. \u00a0The winner takes 75% of the pool money (Enough to buy a few beers!) and 1st runner-up will take 25% of the pool money. \u00a0(Enough to buy at least one beer still!)\"march2014_clubtournament2\"<\/p>\n

Since there was no seeding in this tournament, the draw was done by the players themselves. \u00a0The tournament was quite a nerve-wrecking experience especially for those with higher USATT rating players. \u00a0There are quite a few upsets as well. \u00a0Ruth has used her amazing long pips shots to confuse Nadeem into a dizzy night in the first round. \u00a0 Nic has to upset three strong opponents Randy, Fran and Ely to make it to the final. \u00a0This includes an amazing net shot Nic has used to take Fran to a deuce game and won it with 42-40!<\/p>\n

\"march2014_clubtournament3\"<\/a>On the other bracket, Steve also has to upset Jonathan and Archie to make it to the final. \u00a0In the end, Steve was the last player standing by beating Nic with a score of 41-32. \u00a0Once again, congratulation to Steve Foster in winning the tournament.<\/p>\n
